Chicken Broth
1 cup (240ml)
Soy Sauce
3 tablespoons (45ml)
Minced Garlic
1 teaspoon (5g)
Bacon
3 slices - substitute for roast pork
Scallions
2 stalks (green onions), chopped
Ramen Noodles
1 package (85g) - discard seasoning packet
Instructions
In a small pan, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
Add the chicken broth and soy sauce to create a savory soy-based broth.
Add minced garlic and simmer for 3 minutes to enhance the flavor.
In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package directions, then drain well.
Place cooked noodles in a bowl and ladle the hot broth over them.
Top with crispy bacon slices (as a substitute for roast pork) and chopped scallions.
Serve immediately while hot.
