Miso Paste
3 tablespoons (45g)
Chicken Broth
2 cups (1 pint)
Bacon
4 slices
Imitation Crab
2 ounces (57g), sliced
Green Onions
2 stalks, chopped
Bamboo Shoots
1/4 cup (60ml) canned, drained
Minced Garlic
1 teaspoon (5g)
Hot Sauce
1 teaspoon (5ml)
Seaweed Snacks
1 package (0.5 oz), crumbled
Ramen Noodles
1 package (85g) - discard seasoning packet

Instructions

  1. In a small pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
  2. In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Add the chicken broth and stir.
  4. Stir in the miso paste and minced garlic until completely dissolved.
  5. Add hot sauce to taste.
  6. In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions, then drain well.
  7. Place cooked noodles in bowls and ladle the hot broth over them.
  8. Top with bacon strips, surimi (imitation crab), chopped green onions, and drained canned bamboo shoots.
  9. Sprinkle with crumbled seaweed snacks and serve immediately.
